Hi All,
One heck of a weekend! Between breaking my camera, a snowstorm and damage from the storm I am beat! I wanted to upload a slightly different version of this card but that is on the now broken camera! The only difference is that I added a strip of the designer paper Spice Cake on top of the Early Expresso. So hope everyone faired the weekend well!

Watercolor pencils
Hi All,
Another card we did at my October club. We used the awesome Sunflower stamp, colored it in with the watercolor pencils and blended quickly with the blender pens. The depth the blender pens give to the color is great, but the key is to blend very quickly. Of course it is layered on my current favorite designer paper Spice Cake with the Early Espresso Bakers Twine wound around it for a finishing touch. Enjoy the day!

Vellum and gold embossing
Hi All,
Wanted to post one of the cards we made the other night at stamp club. The picture doesn't do the card justice. I gold embossed the leaves from French Foliage onto Early Espresso than took some vellum cardstock and stamped with More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler. Finished it off with Crumb Cake Seam Binding. I actually ended up cutting the vellum down slightly at club as the girls loved the gold showing through slightly more. I cant say enough how beautiful the gold embossing is!! Nice technique all by itself! Hope you have a great night!

New wall art
Hi All,
This is a shot of my kitchen wall that I have 4 frames that I change out for each season. Course, as I look I see one is tilted! Oh well! Anyway I went very Fall with my use of the Sunflower background stamp and the French Foliage set in the alternating frames. I really loved the look of using the gold embossing powder both on the Spice Cake paper and on the coordinating Early Expresso paper. I added the cute pumpkins after being "reminded" of them from my friend Linda's blog. Check it out here: http://oopadoodle.blogspot.com/
Here are two close up shots of the individual frames.
Have a great night!!

Mini Madness Entry
Hi All,
Here is an entry that I sent into the September Stampin Success contest. The contest title was "Mini Madness" and the goal was to highlight products from the current holiday mini. I LOVED this contest and knew that I had to use the Christmas Lodge set combined with the Frostwood Lodge paper. I had this image in my head of looking through two trees at a beautiful cottage that is covered in snow and ice. Got the desired effect with the Dazzling Details and the Birch patterned designer paper! I hope your enjoying this mini as much as I am!

"Its My Heart"
Hi All,
I wanted to share a very clean and simple card I created for a great organization. called "Its My Heart". This organization supports those affected by congenital and acquired heart defects. A friend of mine has run the Boston Chapter and is now working at the National level. She recently told me that she was contacted by Endicott College and was told about students who wanted to volunteer their time for this worthy organization. Well! She decided to have the students make some needed "Thank you" and "Thinking of You" cards, as I had contacted her this Summer with the offer of some supplies. Here is the card I came up with:

Sorry the color is a bit "off" in the picture. Couldn't quite make the flash behave! Anyway, I enjoyed making a card for such a great cause!!
Thanks Karin
