A little Halloween fun

Hi All,
I got a request from my sister to make some holiday cards. So I surfed around a little bit and decided just a simple layout with a fun theme would fit the bill for her Halloween cards. Here is what I came up with:

I took the picture by my window to see if the shine from the Silver Encore Ink pad would show up. I used that ink on the spiders and the word "Spooky" from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set. I added the spider web with the new chalk marker on the basic black paper, A little left over DP, ribbon and I was done. Cute don't you think?
Have a great day!

Old and New

Hi All,
Got home after another long commute and decided that I needed a "crafting" break before I set off to see the horse. So I set off to design my Great Aunt's Halloween cards. I decided to use some of my Howlstooth and Scaringbone DP, combine it with the Frightening Feline stamp with the new Black Glitter! Love it!
I hope you can see the glitter sparkle! I added the rhinestones for the eyes and corner effect, ribbon across the DP and a sentiment from the Spooky Bingo Bits set and I was done. Hope she likes it have a great day!

Yes I AM here!!

Hi All,
Finally feeling a little bit better! Boy its bad when you don't even have the energy to ink up a few stamps!! Well I decided to play along with Freshly Made Sketches this week as they had ANOTHER great sketch!!
I decided to do a Halloween themed card for a little fun. I hope to present this at a new stamp club of co-workers and really want them to fall in love with my favorite hobby! Here is what I came up with:
I used three different stamp sets. Of course I used my current favorite "Perfectly Preserved". I had seen a few Halloween variation with the jar and knew I wanted to try it out. I added the spider web and sentiment from the Wicked Cool set and Spider from the Spooky Bingo Bits, Added the new stripped ribbon over an embossed panel with a splash of color from a piece of DP and voila I am done! Totally fun! thanks for stopping by!

Another perspective

Hi All,
Well since there was a tornado warning for where I live, I decided to hang out in my crafting room...in the basement! So I decided to take a different perspective on the Cottage Window card I shared yesterday. yesterdays card had you looking out, while today I have you looking "in"!
I used some more of my retired Night and Day paper for "creepy" wallpaper, the stripes embossing folder and some interest with my "Spooky Bingo Bits"! I cut out the window, the wall paper, Frankenstein and my "bats"! I thought the stripes folder made the house look like it had siding! Another very simple but fun Halloween card! Bring on the rain!

Stampin Queens Challenge

Hi All,
I am very excited to share today's Halloween card! I had gone on over to Stampin Queen's Challenge and they had a great sketch:

SQSC-004

When I saw this sketch I immediately imagined the images from Spooky Bingo Bits peeking out. So here they are:
I used some of my retired "Night and Day" DP, ran the Basic Grey paper through the Big Shot in the Stripes Embossing folder and placed a piece of Satin Ribbon on the bottom piece. Love the look and its easy peasy!  Thanks for stopping by!

Try Stamping On.....Thursday!

Hi All,
I wanted to share another Halloween card I made yesterday based off of the great sketch at Try Stamping on Tuesday:
I thought it offered a lot of great possibilities. So here is what I came up with:
I love how "clean" this card came out! I used one of my favorite Halloween stamp sets "Spooky Bingo Bits"! It has so many possibilities! The Designer Frames works perfectly with these stamps, you can fit them in without overlap. I punched out the sentiment and popped it up on dimensionals. Off to work!

Halloween Sour Cream Container

Hi All,
Wanted to post this cute sour cream container that I demonstrated at my friend's workshop the other night. Very cute and great for any occasion! I use the Spooky Bingo Bits to make my own designer paper! These packets are great to place candy or gifts inside versus a traditional box.
Have a great night!
