Stamp a Stack Thank you

Hi All,
I wanted to share my next card that I will be offering at my upcoming stamp a stack. I wanted to use some DP scraps that I love the color of and have saved forever! I used some of my circles punches and love the end result!

I used a sentiment from the Pursuit of Happiness and centered it using the Designer Frames embossing folder. Great way to make a portion of your card "pop"!!
Have a great Sunday!

Clean and simple birthday

Evening All,
I finally had a few minutes to start making my next set of cards for my June stamp a stack! I really wanted a clean and simple look that show cased some beautiful designer paper. Here it is:
I was using some of my Baja Breeze paper with a layer of Early Espresso and the awesome Everyday Enchantment DP. I stayed with using some of my all time favorites that have retired and used Well Scripted for the sentiment and the older butterfly punch. As much as I love the new one I don't seem to be able to part with this one!! Hope the crew loves the new set!

Baseball Birthday!

Morning All,
I wanted to share a quick card I made for my significant others upcoming b-day! We are huge sports fans and right now the Red Sox are going strong so I decided to do a baseball themed card. After looking at some ideas on the web I combined a few things and here is what I came up with:
Sorry for the shadow! Used the circle and square punches to make the ball and bases. I ran some crumb cake through the wood grain folder to make the bat, used the bitty banner framelits and set and was done!
Hope he likes it! Have a great day!

Freshly Made Inspiration

Evening All,
Thought I would share a card I had a few minutes to make today. I actually have need of a few sympathy cards and was at a loss as to where I should start. Those are always the toughest to make. So I sought a little inspiration over at Freshly Made Sketches and they did not disappoint. Here is their sketch:
Here is what I came up with:

I actually had some of these pieces already cut and were just set aside and thought they worked perfectly for this sketch. I used Loving Thoughts as my sentiment and Comfort Cafe  as the DP. Glad I clicked on over for the sketch, as it made a tough task a little easier.
Have a great night!!

Dynamic Birthday

Hi All,
Finally had a few moments to post one of my cards! What a week! Anyway I needed a card for my fathers birthday and was a little "stuck". So I went on over to the Dynamic Duo's Challenge to see what their color combo of the week was. Check it out:
I love all shades of blue so I jumped right on it. Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Bashful Blue and did a layer of white, Midnight Muse and Presto Paper with Bashful Blue ink on it. A little Bashful Blue ribbon, some Midnight Muse butterflies and the sentiment from the Curly Cute soon to retire set. Hope he likes it.
Have a good day!

Friday err Saturday Mash up!

Evening All,
I had a few minutes tonight to try my hand at one of my favorite card challenges. I went on over to the Friday Mashup and they had a cool new challenge:
Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using "A Monochromatic Color Scheme".
  2. Create a project "using Baker's Twine".
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Monochromatic project using some Baker's Twine".
I actually intended to"mash" it up and use Bakers Twine but ended up with liking another accessory and stayed with the monochromatic theme. Check it out:
I used my water color crayons on water color paper on the Swallow tail stamp all in shades of blue (Baja Breeze, Marina Mist and Night of Navy). After coloring and stamping I put a little iridescent ice embossing power for extra sparkle! Though I am not sure you can see that in the picture. A little Baja Breeze pleated ribbon and one of the sentiments from Just Believe.
Hope you enjoy it!
