Stamp a Stack

Hi All,
Thought I would share another card that I have ready for my upcoming Stamp a Stack class. I needed another sketch (ever have one of those weeks??) and, even though this isnt a Christmas Stamp a Stack I checked out Always Playing with Paper and really loved the sketch:

 

I thought that it was perfect for the design I wanted. Here is what I did with it:

 







I used a base of Baja Breeze and, of course, used my Everyday Enchantment for the DP. I heat embossed the flower from Fresh Vintage and added the sentiment from Petite Pairs. Check out always playing with paper, as its a great site for inspriation!

Merry Monday

Hi All,
I am fortunate to have today off and am wishing all my Jewish friends a Happy New Year!! So I am trying to be productive and after a trip to the gym I went back to crafting some more Christmas cards for my great aunt! I was very inspired by the sketch at Merry Monday:

 

I took a little liberty and rotated the sketch and am pleased with the results!

I combined some "old" with the "new"! I used some of the retired Frostwood Lodge DP and layered it with Early Espresso and Whisper White. I also used my Christmas Lodge stamp set with the new Early Espresso embossing powder!! I added some Dazzling Details in clear and some retired quilted Cherry Cobbler retired ribbon. Of course I added my sentiment from the Short and Sweet retired set. Love the result!!

Merry Monday...on Tuesday...again!

Hi All,
I wanted to share a card I made for Always Playing with Paper's "Merry Monday" where you are challenged to make a Christmas card based on their sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

I was motivated to used my new Holiday Frame Embossing Folder from the new mini. I thought it would be kind of interesting to use it on paper vellum. I would recommend that you don't use any tab when your using the new folders as they can go slightly through your cardstock. I also used the new Wood Grain folder on the base layer of Cherry Cobbler. Merry Monday...on a Friday

Hi all,
I didn't have a chance to post this card this morning as, what a surprise, I was running late to work thanks to ponies causing havoc to my schedule! Anyway I had gone on over to Always Playing with Paper for their
Merry Monday challenge and they are taking a well deserved vacation this July. However, they challenged us to use a past sketch to enter the contest:

So I had gone through their very cool sketch list (click here) and really liked this sketch:

I really liked the clean and simple layout. Here is what I came up with:

I wanted to have a few options to chose from at my next stamp club by the class sign up list and thought this fit in very well. I just love Dasher and always reach for him when setting up for at least one of my stamp a stack cards!! Well hope its a hit! Would love your comments! Thanks for stopping by!!

Merry Saturday!

Hi All,
I am still finishing some final touches for my day at Its My Heart Keep the Beat walk tomorrow at Endicott Park!! In addition to my vintage stamp a stack that people can sign up for I thought I would start to offer my Christmas in July stamp a stack! Summer is a great time to get a heads start on your Christmas cards! Once Fall rolls around there is always to much to do! So I want have a few examples of what we will make on hand. A while ago I had stumbled across a great site that challenges you to make a Christmas card a week. Its called Always Playing with Paper and they have a "Merry Monday" every week! How fun right!!?? Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is what I came up with:

I "mixed" up using some of the old and the new. I used the new "Happy Hour" set for the sentiment and the now retired set "Pines and Poinsettias  Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you all tomorrow morning!
