Love these late night postings!

Evening All,
I intended to post this yesterday but of course the day got away from me! That happens with four kids under one roof especially when one is only 11 weeks old!! I am impressed with myself that I have found a little time to craft here and there during the week. Yesterday I was trying to get a few "Thank You" cards done but was stumped for a layout until I went on over to Freshly Made Sketches and they had this awesome sketch:

Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Old Olive, some Rich Razzleberry and coordinating Cottage Wall DP that I had squirreled away. I had used the sentiment from the "From My Heart" set. Love the elegant look of this stamp! A little Razzleberry ribbon and I was done. One of my favorite reasons for using the Stampin Up product line is all the coordination. I love that I can have the same exact shade from DP, to ribbon to ink to brads, etc! Well off to another project before my littlest one needs me again!
Have a great night!

More Thank You's!

Evening All,
Seem to be on a trend with evening posts! Anyhow I was able to complete a few more cards last night thanks to another great sketch challenge and I wanted to share that with you! I had gone on over to The Paper Players and this was the sketch that caught my eye:

And here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Whisper White, a panel of Rich Razzelberry and a few more pieces of my retired Cottage Wall DP. I punched out a flower, ran it through my Polka Dot EF and stamped the "Thank You" from my ever handy Short and Sweet set. Popped it up on dimensionls and I was done! I love all the white space with the pops of color on the panel and banners. Well off to try and decompress! What a day! Thanks for stopping by!

Pals Paper Arts

Evening All,
Sorry about the hiatus been a bit busy with wrapping (or trying to wrap) up school! Anyhow I really needed some "Thank You" cards for all the  baby gifts from my wonderful co-workers! I, of course, had no motivation for layouts so I went on over to Pals Paper Arts and they had a great sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

I used a mix of old and new. I used some of my favorite Cottage Wall DP, and then added in the new Something for Baby stamp set with the matching Baby's Firsts framelits. I used the Bitty Banners Framelits with the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set. I love the mix of Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. Hope they like the cards! Have a great night!

Wow twice in a day!!

Evening All,
Well I have impressed even myself and was able to get the last birthday card done for my friends mother and decided to use this design for my upcoming stamp a stack. I was using up a little bit of my retired goodies to make way for the new stuff from the just released new catty!!!

Here is the link to the new catalog PDF in case you haven't seen it yet!!!

Here is the final card I made today:

I used some of my last few sheets of Raspberry Ripple, a layer of Old Olive and some Cottage Wall DP. I used my Happy Hour stamp set for the greeting and a little ribbon and I was done! Simple but fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Birthday!

Evening All,
I decided I needed to spend some time crafting this evening so I went on over to Freshly Made Sketches and they had a great sketch:
I decided I wanted to focus on some of my more "Spring like" DP and leave the stamping to a minimum. Here is what I came up with:

I used the Petite Pairs stamp set for the sentiment, a little bit of retired ribbon and some Cottage Wall DP that I had squirreled away and I was done! Love the colors and how easily it came together! Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Easter

Evening All,
Sorry for the little hiatus! I have been swamped at work and have not had the energy in the evenings to do much!! Anyway I knew that I needed to get a move on with my Easter cards so I began looking for a sketch that would motivate me. Of course I found one over at Freshly Made Sketches! Check out this weeks sketch:
I pulled some of my new toys and here is what I came up with:

I used a mix of old and new with some Cottage Wall retired DP I had with a new Easter set called "Eggstra Spectacular". I really liked the simple sentiment with the back of the bunny. Of course I had to add a pearl for his tail!! I went very monochromatic with Rich Razzleberry. Well off to pack it in! Have a great night!
