Little by Little!

Hi All,
Well little by little I am getting into a good routine, or at least that's what I hope! Probably all new parents hope for as well!! Now that I have a (somewhat) consistent sleep pattern I am trying to fit in my regular things along with my new responsibilities. So I decided that I needed to really send off a bunch of over due "thank you's" but, of course I needed to replenish my supplies. I sat down and went on over to Colours and Sketches blog and they had this great sketch:

I loved the clean lines and it gave a range of things to work with. Here is what I came up with:

I used a mix of old and new. I did a base of Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and some retired DP I had from last Christmas and the Something For Baby stamp set with the sentiment from Short and Sweet. Very simple but loved the "pop" of colors! Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Return!

Hi All,
I am finally getting back on my feet after a busy two weeks and wanted to share a card that I had a chance to make after working on other "creations". I have been a bit busy with the recent birth of my son! I am actually really excited as now I have a little, handsome face that I can build a new scrapbook around!! Before I work on that I needed to finish my Grandmother's Thanksgiving cards, as her 102nd birthday (much like my Great Aunt's birthday) is fast approaching in September and I need to finish all her cards to make sure she is set up for the Fall! I, of course was a bit brainless about a sketch so I went on over to Freshly Made Sketches and they had a GREAT sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Soft Suede, some of the gorgeous retired Comfort Cafe, the Full of Blessings stamp set and punched out the greeting and popped it up on a dimensional. I love the warm colors! Hope she likes them!
Thanks for stopping by!
