October Thank you's

Hi All,
I wanted to quickly share my Thank You cards that I made for my stamp club members. I wasn't "feeling" pumpkins or leaves. I really just wanted a thank you card that had some Fall colors but you could use when ever. Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Daffodil Delight and the stamp set Simply Sketched, which I colored with my watercolor crayons and blender pens.I love this stamp set, great images and sentiments!  Hope they love them!

Also, don't forget that today is the last day of saving 25% on 25 different stamp sets!!

Great CAS

Morning All,
I wanted to share a card that I cas'ed from my friend and upline Linda over at oop-a-doodle. I was in need of a card with a 3-D feel and she had a very cute card with a snowman. You can see her card here. And here is my version:
I did nearly the same card with the exception of running the banner through my Northern Flurry EF (at Linda's suggestion) and the sentiment is from Christmas Messages. Great set! Love how this came out!

I also wanted to remind you that you have until tomorrow night to take advantage of the 25 at 25% off sale!

Simple Sunflower

Evening All,
I had a little time tonight to get some stamping done. I wanted a "Fall" like card for the sketch I saw over at Freshly Made Sketches

Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Soft Suede and used the Gold Encore ink on my Sunflower background stamp. Such a perfect Fall stamp! Then I used one of my sentiments from my "From the Heart" set in Soft Suede ink on Naturals White cardstock and punched it out with the Apothecary Accents framelit. I then re-inked inked it in Gold and cut out the center and popped it up on dimensionals. A few large pearls and I was set. Have a great night everyone!

Lovely as a tree

Evening All,
I finally had a chance to share a card that I will be presenting at a workshop for a new crafting friend. As this is a new group to me I wanted to use one of my all time favorite sets; Lovely as a Tree! I decided a simple layout with a little "sparkle" would be a good start:

I changed the angle of the camera below so you can see the images without the sparkle over taking the picture! I stamped the trees in Staz On ink and sponged some Pool Party ink over the trees. Then I used my Versa Mark stamp pad and heat embossed Iridescent Ice for that awesome sparkle look. I used the Winter Frost DP as a background on a layer of Basic Grey and Smokey Slate, a little satin ribbon and I was done. Love this color combo for Christmas!

Hope they like it!
Thanks Karin

CAS 46

Morning All,
Quick post before I head to work. Had a chance to make a congrats card for a co-worker who is retiring.....to Hawaii!! However, it got a little exciting here last night and I never got a chance to post it! I had gone on over to CAS colour and sketches blogspot and they had this awesome sketch:

And without further adieu here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Daffodil Delight, a layer of Rich Razzleberry and a piece of Floral District paper that I saved as I loved the patter. I popped out the window with my Apothecary Accents thinlits. Love that effect! Simple but elegant! Have a great day!

Friday Mash Up on Sunday

Hi All,
I haven't had to much time lately for my crafting so I took a little time this morning before the game to make a Thanksgiving card. I was a little stumped as to where I should start so I went on over to The Friday Mash Up and they had an awesome challenge:

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using "the Sketch."
  2. Create a "Spooky" project.
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Spooky project using the above sketch. "

I chose to just use the sketch. Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Baja Breeze, a layer of Soft Suede and Spice DP (I so miss it!). A little canvas ribbon, Bakers Twine, button and a circle punch with my sentiment and I was done. It was an easy, quick card! Love when sketches help me do that!
Have a great day!

Becky's Card

Hi All,
I wanted to share a card that I will be making at a friends upcoming workshop. I shared the Halloween card not that long ago that I will be demonstrating and this is the card that all the guests will be making:

I was inspired by this weeks sketch at Freshly Made Sketches:

I used a base of Whisper White with some Smokey Slate and the awesome new Winter Frost DP as my layers. I stamped the poinsettia in my Silver Encore ink and fussy cut it out, mounted it on some dimensionals and added some rhinestones. The sentiment is from my Christmas Messages stamp set and I punched it out with my Modern Label punch. I took a few liberties with the sketch but I love how easily this came together. Hope everyone enjoys it! Have a great night!

Freshly Made Thank You

Hi All,
I had some extra time to do a little crafting yesterday so I went on over to Freshly Made Sketches and they had another amazing sketch:

I needed a thank you card and thought this was the perfect layout. Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Soft Suede and stamped my Sunflower image in the amazing Gold Encore ink! I did the layers in Comfort Cafe, Gold Foil and Very Vanilla. I stamped my sentiment from Simply Sketched and of course I used Gold! Love the rich colors of the Fall!
Have a great day!

Halloween Happiness

Morning All.
Well am home another day sick! Gotta love it!! Anyway I am going to be doing a workshop at a friend of mines home this month and she LOVES Halloween! So here is the card that I am going to demonstrate:

I colored the Halloween Happiness Stamp then added some rhinestone's. I used a base of Tangerine Tango and ran it through the Big Shot with the Stripes EF versa marked so that I could use my Heat and Stick Powder and add the Black Glitter. I roughed up the edges of the White and Basic Black and I was done. Very easy card but with a lot of appeal!!! Have a great day!
