Disney Thank You

Hi All!
Sorry for the silence this week. We went away to Disney! Lots of fun as always!! Now back to reality but first I needed to make a quick thank you card for my cat and house sitter so of course I went for a Disney theme.
I used circle punches to make the Mickey head and middle of the tie, which made this a breeze! A quick thank you sentiment and I was done! Hope she likes it! Thanks for stopping by!

Pals Paper Arts

Hi All,
I wanted to share another Christmas card I was able to make this morning before running off to the gym. I had gone on over to Pals Paper Arts and was inspired by their sketch (as usual):
PPA164

Here is what I came up with:

This sketch was perfect for my strips of my Holly Berry DP. A quick punch out with the square punch to make my pennant's and a sentiment from Christmas Lodge and I was done! Fun! Have a great day!

Another freshly made Christmas!!

Evening All,
I was able to get a little time to myself tonight after work to check out the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches :
I knew I could use up some of my precut pieces AND have another card for my stash! Check it out:

I used some of my Holly Berry DP on a base of Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla. Some Cherry Cobbler bakers twine and a sentiment from Short and Sweet and I was done! Fun! Have a great night!

Use your scraps

Hi All,
Well once again I was able to gather enough energy after work to make another Christmas card for my Great Aunt. This heat and poor air conditioning at work is a killer!! Anyway, I have a pile of scraps I have had put aside that I keep meaning to put together so I made sure I used them and I am very happy that I did! Check it out:

I had this cool oval I punched out of some Holly Berry paper that I thought I would use for "something" and I felt like it worked perfectly for this! I used a base of Cherry Cobbler, a layer of Early Espresso that I heat embossed the tree from the Christmas Lodge on and then added the oval. A little burlap ribbon and a pearl and I was done! Check another one off the list! Have a great night and stay cool!

Mojo Monday on a Tuesday

Hi All,
Got home from work today and decided that I would post a card I made based on the sketch over at Mojo Monday :

As I am quickly running out of time (believe it or not!) to make my relatives Christmas cards I thought I should get a move on and add to the meager collection I have been able to make.

Here is what I came up with:
I am awaiting some of my new toys from the Holiday Mini and thought I would use some old favorites before playing with the new! I used the Festival of Prints DP with layers of Cherry Cobbler that had been run through the Tulips EF and some Lucky Limeade ribbon I had. The stocking is from the now retired Open Sleigh and the greeting is from Petite Pairs. Now I can check another one off my list! Have a great day!\

Another Freshly Made Christmas!

Evening All,
I had a chance to pop on over to Freshly Made Sketches and they had another inspiring sketch:

I am continuing to work on my Great Aunt's Christmas cards and thought this was perfect. Here is what I came up with:

I used a base of Cherry Cobbler and Lucky Limeade. I decided that I needed a little "bling" and added a rhinestone over the "i". Fun! Great challenge site when you need motivation!! Have a great night!

Surfin through Summer!

Hi All,
I finally had a minute to share my last card of my Summer Stamp a Stack this morning! I have been on a roll using the Summer Splash stamp set and thought I would round out the trio using that set:

I used a base of Not Quite Navy, a background of some Blueberry Crisp DP and Crumb cake and stamped the surf boards in a matching Not Quite Navy ink. I ran the bottom of the Whisper White paper through the Wood Grain EF and sponged it with Crumb Cake ink for a "beach" look. So fun! Have a great day!

Stamp a Stack Summer Splash

Hi All,
Had a chance to make another card that I am going to offer at my upcoming Summer Stamp a Stack. I was drawn again to the very fun Summer Splash stamp set and bright colors:
I used the colors from the Everyday Enchantment: Pool Party and Calypso Coral for my layers, ribbon and ink. Added a greeting from Well Scripted with a cheery, bright Calypso Coral brad and I was done! Love it! Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Christmas!

Morning All,
Thought I would post a card I was inspired to make by this great sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. Check it out:

I realized I needed to get moving on making my Great Aunt her Christmas cards so here is what I came up with:

I had some perfect squares already cut from the Holly Berry DP, which worked perfectly for the sketch. I put the sentiment in the center and used my old favorite Short and Sweet and I was done! Love when a card comes together so quickly! Have a great day!

Happy Summer

Hi All,
Quick post before I head into work. I had a chance to make a card yesterday and wanted something "summer" and "fun". I had recently borrowed the retired "Summer Splash" set from a friend and thought it would be perfect combined with some bright cardstock I had:
I used Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Bashful Blue and some Everyday Enchantment DP. I heat embossed the fish with their bubbles and added a sentiment in Craft Ink at the bottom and I was done! Fun and easy! Hope you had a great fourth!!

Perfect In Colors

Hi All,
Quick post before I head to the fireworks. I wanted to make a card for my new catty party and wanted to use one of my new sets; Perfect Blend and show case the new "in colors". Check it out:
I stamped the image on the new Baked Brown Sugar and then on Whisper White and cut out the pieces. Added the rectangles of in colors on a base of the new Crisp Cantaloupe that had been run through the polka dots embossing folder and I was done after a little ribbon. Love the Summer look!
Have a great fourth!

Wild Flower Meadow and other interesting items!

Morning All,

Wanted to post this yesterday but we had a tornado warning in the afternoon and was a bit distracted!! It was a bit crazy but no tornado thank goodness! Anyway I need some thank you cards and was playing around with my Wild Flower Meadow bundle and here is what I came up with:
I also used the Petite Pairs for my sentiment. I inked the stamp in white craft ink, dried it and colored it with markers giving it a little time to dry so I could add some depth. Then I placed it on a piece of Afternoon Picnic DP and mounted it on a half sheet of the new "In Color" Crisp Cantaloupe after running it through the embossing folder. A very fun set!!

I also wanted to share a great promo that Stampin Up is offering this month!!
