Quick post before I head to work. Had a chance to make a congrats card for a co-worker who is retiring.....to Hawaii!! However, it got a little exciting here last night and I never got a chance to post it! I had gone on over to CAS colour and sketches blogspot and they had this awesome sketch:
And without further adieu here is what I came up with:
I used a base of Daffodil Delight, a layer of Rich Razzleberry and a piece of Floral District paper that I saved as I loved the patter. I popped out the window with my Apothecary Accents thinlits. Love that effect! Simple but elegant! Have a great day!

I like that you took the different approach by cutting the window from the patterned paper and mat, rather than adding a smaller panel on top! Thanks for sharing your card with us at CAS - Colours and Sketches!
p.s. Please consider turning off word verification. Trying to decipher those "words" makes it very difficult for some of us to leave comments for you!
I really love that paper too. Love the aperture idea - I don't use that enough. A great take on the sketch, thanks for playing along with us at CC&S this week
