Hi All,
Had to share that I received a wonderful email this morning! I was picked as one on the cards at the Stampin Queen's Challenge! This was the card I entered:
So wanted to say "thanks!" to the wonderful designers! I am still working on placing the badge on my blog, having a little trouble making it "blink". I will figure it out soon though!

Try Stampin on Tuesday #47 and Our Creative Corner Bright and Happy New Year
Hi All!
Feeling much better! Thank god! To celebrate I checked out a couple of challenges. First I needed my sketch so I went on over to Try Stampin on Tuesday and here was their sketch:
I chose to use my Flower Fancy set as I had not touched it in a while and was missing it! I also used the watercolor pencils and used the brightest green, yellow, pink and purple pencils. I brightened it even more by using Gamsol on the pencils before coloring with them. They are very bright in person, but I don't think my phone camera cant quite catch it!! I finished the design by using pieces of Concord Crush DP layed on black. Everything looks better on black right? Finally I tied the card shut with the new Sale-a-bration Lucky Limeade organza ribbon. Thanks for checking out my card!

Morning all,
I was on such a great role until yesterday! Ugh came home from work with a sore throat which turned into a lovely fever! I can not stand being sick! So anyway didn't get a chance to post this card I made for Create with Connie and Mary's challenge of the week. Here was their sketch:
I used the sketch as a basis for another of my Valentines. Here is what I came up with:

I really liked the layout. Here is what I came up with:
As usual I had to incorporate gold embossing powder with the letters and I had to use the Sending Love DP that is now retired. Some of my all time fav paper! I have a "stash" set aside that I picked up during last years clearance blitz. This years is going on until January 5th so click here to check out this years deals. Hope your enjoying your New Years Eve!

Our Creative Corner "Home for the Holidays" Challenge & Sneak Peek
Morning All,
I wanted to post a card I made for my January club. I was inspired by the "Home for the Holidays" challenge on the Our Creative Corner blog. Their challenge was to make a card that was inspired by something in your home or that you see out your window. Well we have this grouping of bird feeders outside our kitchen window and for Christmas I gave my sig other quite a bit of bird seed (one in the shape of a snowman, so cute!) and the birds have all come back to partake. There are the beautiful cardinals, blue jays and wood peckers but in the midst of this feathered chaos was this little brown bird. I am not great with bird names, perhaps it was a wren? In any event he/she was half the size of this other colorful birds, but he pushed himself in and chowed down! Love it! So here is my card based on that adorable bird:

Less is More #47 and continued sneak peek!
Hi all,
Well procrastinating doing some work this morning and thought I would make a card for a challenge. I went on over to the Less is More Blog and their clean and simple challenge was to use "Just One Word".
Here is what I came up with:
As you can see I am still on my gold embossing "kick!" Love the stuff! I used my Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, colored the center of the flowers with my versa marker and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. I then used one of the great choices from the soon to be released "Loving Thoughts" stamp set in gold and finally added the last bits of the beautiful gold ribbon my friend gave to me. Thanks for checking out my entry. I hope you are enjoying your week!
